Crews rescue man from flat fire in Morriston, Swansea

A man has been rescued after a fire broke out at a block of flats in Swansea.

Mid and West Fire and Rescue Service was called to Llanllienwen Close, Morriston, just before 23:00 GMT on Tuesday.

The blaze was contained to the three-storey block of flats and it took crews about an hour to extinguish it.

The rescued man, who was on the second floor, suffered smoke inhalation and received treatment at hospital.
