A40 westbound reopened after car and tractor crash

A road has reopened after a person was airlifted to hospital following a crash involving a car and a tractor in Carmarthenshire.

The westbound carriageway of the A40 was closed following the incident near Bancyfelin just after 10:00 GMT on Thursday.

The road has been examined and was reopened at 11.50am GMT, Dyfed-Powys Police said.

Council workers attended to clean a diesel spillage.
