Some 5,000 runners from 25 countries took part in the second annual Swansea half marathon on Sunday.

Commonwealth Games runner Dewi Griffiths joined those who set off from Oxford Street after 09:00 BST.

Crowds lined the route, which went through the city, along Swansea Bay, through the marina and back to Oxford Street.

Organisers said they were "delighted" with the turnout - a rise on last year's 2,000 runners.
