Writer Sir Kingsley Amis has been honoured with a blue plaque outside his former home in Swansea.
The plaque has been placed outside the house on The Grove in Uplands where the author lived in the early 1950s.
Sir Kingsley wrote 'Lucky Jim' and 'That Uncertain Feeling' while in Swansea and was a lecturer at Swansea University for 12 years until 1961.
A Swansea council spokesman said: "Amis' strong Swansea connections mean he thoroughly deserves a blue plaque."
