Trial of re-usable recycling bags in parts of Swansea
- Published
Re-usable recycling bags have been introduced in some areas of Swansea as part of a new trial.
The pink bags, which are used for collecting plastic, will have re-usable fasteners and be weighted to stop them from being blown away in the wind.
They are twice the size of the usual pink bag issued by Swansea Council.
St Thomas, Bonymaen, Pentrechwyth, Pontlliw and Pontarddulais will get the bags first and if successful the scheme could be rolled out across the city.
