A man has died in hospital two weeks after being seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in Swansea.

Clifford Stroud, 47, had been treated at Cardiff's University Hospital of Wales since the incident near the Riverside Caravan Park at Ynysforgan.

His silver Ford Mondeo estate left a road running below a railway embankment and collided with some trees at 17:50 GMT on 14 April.

Two passengers also needed hospital treatment but escaped serious injury.

South Wales Police are continuing to investigate the incident and are appealing for witnesses to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
