Pedestrian dies in collision with vehicle in Carmarthenshire

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian died in a collision with a vehicle in the early hours of Sunday.

The incident happened at about 03:20 GMT on the A40 between Llandovery and Llanwrda, Carmarthenshire.

The 27-year-old male pedestrian is from the Ammanford area and his family have been informed.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call Dyfed-Powys Police on 101.
