Pedestrian dies in bus collision in Llanelli

A pedestrian has died after he was involved in a collision with a bus in Llanelli, say Dyfed-Powys Police.

The man was airlifted to Morriston Hospital, Swansea, after the incident shortly before midday on Friday near Union Bridge at Queen Victoria Road.

Insp Paul Lewis said police were trying to find out the man's identity and investigations were continuing into what happened.

He also urged anyone with information to contact police.

Those in the force area should ring 101, while those outside Dyfed-Powys should ring 01267 222020.
