Climbers rescued after cliff fall near Rhossili


Two climbers have been saved by coastguards after one fell more than 100ft (30m) and another was hit on the head by a falling rock.

Swansea coastguard were called to Fall Bay at Lewes Castle near Rhossili on Sunday morning by South Wales Police.

A male climber had leg and arm injuries after his fall.

A woman suffered from head, neck and spinal injuries after she was hit on the head by a rock which had become dislodged when the man fell.

Neither were in the water.
