Men and youths face cannabis factory charges in Swansea

Two men and two youths have been charged in connection with a cannabis factory in Swansea.

It follows the discovery of up to 3,000 cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of around £1m at a former social club in Llansamlet.

The males, who are all Vietnamese, are due to appear at Swansea Magistrates' Court.

The men are 27 and 26 and the youths are 16 and 14.

The charges all relate to the production of cannabis.

A 52-year-old local man has been granted police bail pending further investigations.

South Wales Police made the discovery at the former Four Seasons Club in Llansamlet, following information from within the local community.

Det Ch Insp Peter Azzopardi, who is leading the investigation, said: "This is by far the largest cannabis plantation we have come across within our area and considerable resources have been and continue to be involved in this investigation."
