Police investigating a sexual assault in the Vale of Glamorgan have appealed for a man who gave the victim a lift to come forward.

The woman, 41, had been with friends in Park Crescent, Barry, on 13 April, but was found the next morning in a distressed state on Winston Road.

Police believe a man driving a silver Lexus offered her a lift and took her to Cold Knap car park during the night.

He was described as aged 50 to 60, with white hair and a reddish complexion.
