Woman killed in A4048 Markham crash named by police

A woman who died in a two-car crash in Caerphilly county has been named as 67-year-old Marian Joan Radford.

Ms Radford, from Caerphilly, was driving a Vauxhall Astra which collided with a Volkswagen Polo on the A4048 near Markham at about 15:50 GMT on Wednesday.

A 55-year-old man from Crosskeys, who was a passenger in the Polo, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver, a 22-year-old man from Crosskeys, suffered minor injuries.
