Men rescued from cherry picker above canopy in Cardiff

Two men had to be rescued in Cardiff after becoming stuck in a cherry picker cage about eight metres above a glass canopy, the fire service said.

The incident happened at about 08:00 GMT on Sunday at the Capital Retail Park in Canton.

South Wales Fire and Rescue service tweeted that an engine and hydraulic platform were sent to rescue the men.

Neither was injured in the incident.
