Man, 41, charged after policeman hit by off-road bike

A man has been charged after a police officer was hit by an off-road bike in Caerphilly county.

The incident happened on Commercial Street, Senghenydd, on 22 June.

A 41-year-old man has been charged with driving a motor vehicle dangerously, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

He was remanded in custody and will appear at Newport Magistrates' Court on Friday. The officer suffered minor injuries.
