Tanker driver admits causing Michael Coleman's crash death
A tanker driver has admitted causing the death of a mobile crane operator after crashing into his machine on the M4 near Cardiff.
Carl Askew, 47, of Gloucester, pleaded guilty at Cardiff Crown Court to causing the death of Michael Coleman by careless driving.
The collision, between junctions 30 and 32 on 2 November 2015, closed part of the road for several hours.
The case was adjourned for sentencing on 23 May.
Following his death, Mr Coleman, 50, from Betws, near Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, was described by his family as a "ray of sunshine" and "an absolute pleasure to have in your life".
Askew was released on bail and banned from driving ban until the next hearing.
