Woman, 25, dies more than month after Abertysswg crash

A woman has died more than a month after being airlifted to hospital following a crash in Caerphilly county.

A Citroen Picasso left the road near the Mountain Ash Inn, Abertysswg, on 9 February.

Carla Jones, 25, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to Cardiff's University Hospital of Wales but died on Sunday, Gwent Police said.

The driver, a 48-year-old man, was also airlifted to the hospital and is now recovering.
