Man in court over crash that killed Simon Lewis and newborn son
A driver accused of causing the deaths of a father and his newborn child by dangerous driving has appeared at Cardiff Crown Court.
Simon Lewis, 33, of Trowbridge, was killed in the crash on Lamby Way on New Year's Eve. His baby died after being born by emergency Caesarean section.
Kyle Kennedy, 29, of Rumney, faces several charges including two of causing death by dangerous driving.
He was remanded in custody on Friday and will appear in court on 15 April.
Mr Kennedy has also been charged with driving without insurance, driving while disqualified and aggravated vehicle taking without consent.
