Arrest after man is knocked down in Splott, Cardiff

A 26-year-old man has been arrested after a male pedestrian was knocked down by a vehicle in Cardiff.

South Wales Police said the man was struck in a collision in Tweedsmuir Road after 15:00 GMT on Thursday.

Details of the pedestrian's condition remain unclear.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to get in contact.
