Electricity has been reconnected to more than 360 homes after a fire left households in Cardiff without power.

The blaze broke out at a house in Tweedsmuir Road, Tremorfa, just before 13:30 GMT on Wednesday.

Western Power Distribution had managed to connect most of the 367 homes by 20:00.

A man and a woman escaped the fire in the two-storey home, after it started in an electrical supply under the stairs of the property.
