Man, 47, dies four days after A470 Abercynon crash

A 47-year-old man has died four days after a car crash in Rhondda Cynon Taff.

Chris Foley, from Merthyr Tydfil, died from his injuries in hospital on Friday, South Wales Police confirmed.

He had been in a critical condition at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, since the crash on the A470 northbound near Abercynon on Monday.

Anyone who witnessed the collision involving a silver Ford Fiesta has been asked to contact police on 101.
