A burst major water main has cut off supplies in Caerphilly county.

It is affecting properties in Abercarn, Cross Keys, Pontywaun and Risca.

While water is being maintained to many properties by tankers, some have been cut off or are experiencing discolouration in their supply.

A Welsh Water spokesman apologised and blamed "a third party" for the damage, saying repair work was continuing. It said families with young babies were being given bottled water.
