Travellers who have set up camp at a main car park in a town in Monmouthshire could be moved on by council officials.

About 15 caravans and cars appeared at the Cattle Market car park in Monmouth on Tuesday evening.

Their arrival has forced many motorists to park in nearby streets.

Monmouthshire council officers, who have already met the travellers, are looking to move them on through council policy and procedures.
