Caerphilly Facebook police-taunt man arrested
A wanted man who taunted police on their own Facebook page, saying "catch me if you can", has been arrested.
Logan Rhys James, 19, from Caerphilly, had been on the run, a week after being released early from his prison sentence for street knife attack.
Gwent Police posted his mug shot on social media with an appeal for any information about his whereabouts.
But underneath James wrote a comment saying: "Haha catch me if you can wont see me slipping".
Police said James was arrested in Caerphilly at about 17:50 GMT and was being held in police custody.
Speaking on his mobile phone from an unknown location earlier on Sunday, James told a news agency he was still in his home town.
"They are not going to be able to catch me - I won't let them. They have been round my mum's house four times a day but I'll be out for at least a month or two before they get me.
"I have only been out for a week so I want to be out a bit longer before going back in. I'm still near my home and I haven't seen any police yet. I have been walking around near home so they're not trying too hard to catch me."
James received an eight month sentence for wounding, affray, common assault and being in possession of a knife after being convicted in July.
A Gwent Police spokesman said: "Due to the fact that Logan, who was released on licence, breached his licence conditions he has been recalled to prison."
