Police seize £10,000 and drugs in raid on Cardiff house

A 38-year-old man has been arrested for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs after a raid on a Cardiff house.

Drugs and £10,000 in cash were seized by police after a morning search of a house on Pen-y-Wain Road, Roath.

Officers from South Wales Police and Gloucestershire Constabulary worked together to carry out a search warrant at the property.

Roath and Cathay Inspector Lyndon Jones said: "We will not tolerate the production or supply of drugs.

"We are very grateful to the public who continue to support our work by providing us with valuable intelligence which results in positive results such as these.

"This was an excellent example of how two police forces have been able to bring their resources together to combat crime and remove thousands of pounds worth of drugs from our streets."
