Martin Trinder dies after falling off his bike in Penarth

Police have renewed an appeal for help after a cyclist injured in Penarth died in hospital.

Martin Trinder, 25, from Cardiff had been treated at the University Hospital of Wales in the city since falling from his bike on 16 July.

South Wales Police said Mr Trinder died from his injuries on Tuesday.

The incident happened on a hill at St Augustines Crescent heading towards St Augustines Road when the cyclist appears to have lost control and fallen

Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
