Motorway traffic into Wales faced delays for a second day earlier as thousands of rugby fans headed to the Heineken Cup Final in Cardiff.

Traffic Wales reported a six-mile (10km) queue approaching the M4 tolls on the Second Severn Crossing earlier on Saturday.

It said fans going to the Millennium Stadium for the Toulon-Saracens match were causing the queues.

By 16:30 BST traffic was flowing freely again.

On Friday evening there were 32-miles of stop-start traffic on the M4 ahead of the Amlin Challenge Cup final.

The bank holiday getaway traffic was also a likely factor in the delays, according to Traffic Wales.
