Newport murder police plea to trace man

Police have released the photograph of a man they want to speak to in connection with a murder investigation in Newport.

Ramunas Raulinautis, 34, died following a fire in the forecourt area of the Gateway Express Hotel on Chepstow Road on 9 March.

Officers want to speak to 30-year-old Stanislaw Gliszczynski.

Three men, aged 27, 29 and 21, have been charged with Mr Raulinautis's murder.

Police said he was set alight and had also been assaulted.

He died at the burns unit at Morriston Hospital in Swansea on 12 March.

Mr Gliszczynski is described as having shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes.

He has a tattoo of a tribal design on his left arm and Celtic band on his left leg.

Anyone with any information about him or where he may be is asked to call Gwent police.

Officers are also still appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity of Chepstow Road between 0700 GMT and 2215 GMT on 9 March and who has any information about the incident to call them.
