Man due to appear on Cardiff murder charge
A man is due to appear before Cardiff magistrates charged with the murder of a 30-year-old man from St Mellons in the city.
James Way was found unconscious at his home last Sunday and died later in hospital.
South Wales Police said a 46 year-old man from Grangetown has been charged with murder and is to appear in court.
A 42 year-old man from Mynachdy in Cardiff who was also being held has been released without charge.
Officers said Mr Way was taken to hospital at 0900 GMT on Sunday in an "unconscious state" and died shortly afterwards.
In a statement his family described him as "a loving, caring son and adoring father."
Police said they were still appealing for information.
Det Insp Mark Lewis said: "I would like to thank the public for the support they have shown and for the information we have received so far.
"If anyone believes they have information that could help the investigation, but haven't got in touch yet, please phone the incident room."
