Holyhead's Market Street traffic ban to be lifted
A pedestrianised town centre street on Anglesey is to be reopened to traffic after complaints it was hitting trade.
Anglesey council said it was offering free parking nearby while the work to change the layout of Market Street, Holyhead, is completed.
It is normally closed to traffic between 11:00-16:30 GMT.
But the council said it was taking action as "businesses have been complaining that this arrangement is not helping trade".
The resurfacing and remodelling work includes the installation of bigger drainage pipes to help alleviate flooding problems.
The new road and parking layout is designed to allow vehicles to access the high street.
The road will still close during market day.
