Two boys charged with arson at Bangor school

Two boys aged 12 and 14 have been charged with arson and criminal damage following a fire at a school in Bangor.

The blaze at Our Lady Immaculate RC School on 28 February damaged a detached classroom block.

Firefighters from Bangor and Menai Bridge had to cut their way into the classroom through the roof to put out the blaze.

Both boys have been granted bail and will appear at Caernarfon Youth Court on the 20 June.

Det Cons Gerallt Davies, of North Wales Police asked anyone who witnessed the fire to contact police on 101.
