Hunt after sex attack on teenager in Bala

North Wales Police are appealing for information after a 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted.

The assault took place near Bala Rugby Club, Gwynedd, at about 2200 GMT on Saturday, 20 November.

The attacker is described as having shaven "designer bushy eyebrows," had peroxide blond hair and a local accent.

Det Con Mike Owen said the assault took place between Bala lake footpath and the rugby club fields.

He added: "We are now anxious to trace a man described as being in his 20's, muscular build, 5ft 10in, brown eyes, shaven designer bushy eyebrows with markings on each eyebrow and a noticeable bump on his nose.

"He had peroxide blond hair with black roots with a very short fringe and spoke with a local accent.

"He was wearing a black hooded top with a blue Henley's or Mackenzie logo (circles), black tracksuit bottoms, black and orange Henley trainers, black scarf and ski gloves.

"We understand that this man was at public houses in Bala on the evening of this incident and we are asking anyone who may have seen him to contact us."
