North Wales Police hunt armed petrol station robber


Police are appealing for witnesses after a robber held up a petrol station in Gwynedd at knife point.

A man wearing a balaclava entered the Londis Parciau filling station in Criccieth shortly after 2100 GMT on Saturday.

He then produced a 12 inch (30.5 cm) kitchen blade and demanded cash from the till.

After the cash was handed over he ran off in the direction of Pwllheli.

North Wales Police want to talk to anybody who may have witnessed the robbery.

The robber was wearing a blue balaclava covering his face.

He was 5 ft 7 in (170 cm), of slim build, and was wearing jogging bottoms.
