Pedestrian dies after accident on A525 Rhuddlan bypass

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a vehicle on a dual carriageway in Denbighshire.

North Wales Police said the man was walking towards Rhyl on the A525 bypass, which runs from Rhuddlan, at about 04:25 BST on Saturday.

He was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan where he died from his injuries.

Anyone who saw him walking in the road before the incident is asked to call 101.
