Wrexham traffic disruption warning as road works announced
Motorists have been warned to expect disruptions as road works get underway on one of the busiest roads into Wrexham.
Resurfacing will take place on Mold Road, from the Plas Coch roundabout to Crispin Lane, passing Glyndwr University and the Racecourse stadium.
The work beings on Sunday, October 9, with traffic management in place.
The disruption is expected to last for five weeks and will "impact on many people", according to Wrexham council.
"We will be doing everything they can to ensure the work is completed as soon as possible," said David Bithell, from Wrexham council's executive board.
"We also wanted to start work before November to lessen the impact on town centre shops during the Christmas shopping season."
