A Flintshire college has won a UK welding competition for the third successive year.

Matthew Hughes, Gareth Phillips, Owen Fitzgibbon and Thomas Lavender from Coleg Cambria created a replica royal carriage in the Weld Off 2016 final.

The team were crowned the best welding apprentices and received more than £3,000 of prizes.

Julia Chippendale, managing director of awarding body EAL said it was "a fantastic accolade".
