Historical murder search focuses on Nant y Ffrith woods
Dozens of police officers, joined by Army search specialists and dogs, have been searching a wooded area in Wrexham as part of a murder inquiry.
North Wales Police are leading the search at Nant y Ffrith woods near Bwlchgwyn for evidence linked to a historical murder.
They are attempting to find the remains of an unidentified man.
On Wednesday, police searched land in Gobowen, Shropshire, as part of the investigation.
Other searches have been conducted around Wrexham and Shropshire in the past few days.
Police have said the murder may have happened within the last five years.
Searches include the use of excavators, metal detectors and specially trained dogs from Dyfed-Powys Police used to search for bodies.
