Neville Wyn Griffiths named as A1 North Yorkshire crash victim

A Denbighshire man killed in a crash on the A1 in North Yorkshire has been named as Neville Wyn Griffiths.

The 48-year-old, from Graigfechan, near Ruthin, died when his BMW car was in collision with a lorry on Friday.

Mr Griffiths was a director of Direct Plant and Tools, based on the Lon Parcwr Industrial Estate at Ruthin.

The collision happened northbound between junctions 47-48 Allerton Park and Boroughbridge at about 20:00 GMT. Police have appealed for witnesses.
