Flintshire council has agreed to consult the public over the closure of three primary schools.

Parents protested outside the council meeting about the plans affecting Ysgol Maes Edwin at Flint Mountain, Ysgol Llanfynydd and Ysgol Mornant in Picton.

Councillors were told the schools met a number of "triggers" for review.

They also agreed to carry out an area review covering four other primary schools at Brynford, Lixwm, Nercwys and Ysgol Rhos Helyg in Rhosesmor.
