Shotton crash witness appeal after pedestrian injured

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses after a 73-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured in a road crash at Shotton in Flintshire.

The man was in collision with a white Renault Trafic van on Central Drive, Aston, at around 18:45 GMT on Saturday.

At first he was said to have suffered "life threatening injuries" but police say he is now out of danger.

Witnesses are asked to call PC Christensen (601) at the Eastern Road Police Unit by dialling 101.

They should quote incident number R015433.
