Tributes have been paid to a 23-year-old motorcyclist who died in a collision with a 4x4 vehicle in Denbighshire earlier this month.

Daniel Williams "enjoyed every minute of his life", loved music and socialising with friends, said his sister Leandra.

The collision happened on the A494 near Gwyddelwern near Corwen, on Saturday 10 August.

His sister described him as "one in a million".

Mr Williams leaves his father David, mother Lyn, brother Chris, sister Leandra and girlfriend Hayley Jones.

Speaking on behalf of the family in a statement issued by North Wales Police, Leandra said: "'Dan was always happy and was a very likeable person."

Fix things

Mr Williams, who was known to his friends as 'Wills', worked briefly on local farms after after leaving Ysgol Brynhyfryd in Ruthin before joining his father's construction business.

"He loved working for Dad, he drove a bulldozer and travelled all over the country doing this work," added Leandra.

"Dan loved anything to do with an engine, liked fixing the machines, tinkering with cars and would try and fix things himself rather than go to a garage.

"He would also talk about machines to his friends, but I suppose you could say that it was in his blood from a very early age.

"Dan was always busy, keen to learn new things and always on the go but was happy. When he was around there was never a dull moment."

She said he would be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
