Haydn Evans: Plea to missing Mold teen after Cheshire party
The "devastated" family of a teenager who has been missing for four days since a works Christmas party have appealed for his safe return.
Police say they are extremely concerned for Haydn Evans, 18, from Mold, Flintshire, who attended an event at the Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire.
He was last seen by the hotel front door at about 01:00 GMT on Saturday.
His stepsister Jade Conway sent him a message: "We are all so worried about you and need to know you are safe."
A search involving a police helicopter and dog team is continuing.
Police have said Mr Evans was not wearing a coat or jacket, and may have become disorientated with the extreme cold and unfamiliar surroundings.
They have asked anyone with outbuildings in the area to check them in case Mr Evans sought shelter.
Ms Conway, issued a direct plea to him to get in touch, saying: "Haydn, we are all devastated about your disappearance.
"If you are listening to this, or have seen the appeal for you, please contact us."
Ch Insp Julie Westgate, of Cheshire Police, said: "We are extremely concerned for Haydn′s welfare, especially given the exceptionally bad weather conditions we experienced last weekend.
"We have a significant amount of resources committed in the search for Haydn, and understand that this is completely out of character for him to not be in touch with his family or friends.
"We urge anyone who may have been at the hotel that evening and may have seen Haydn leaving the premises, or perhaps anyone who he spoke with on that evening or since, and may have knowledge of his current whereabouts, to contact Cheshire Police as a matter of urgency."
Mr Evans is about 5ft 9in (1.76m) and slim, with short brown hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt and trousers.
Anyone who travelled on the A41 Whitchurch road or A534 Wrexham road and may have seen him is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101.
The hotel is east of Wrexham and south of Chester off the A534, near Clutton.
