In pictures: Street performers compete in Mold
The Flintshire town of Mold has been hosting a two-day street performance festival with acts competing to win The National Welsh Street Performers Competition 2011.
Performances include escapology, street theatre, live music, singing and circus skills.
Organiser Shelly Barratt, development director for Flintshire Tourism Association, said the competition was being held for the first time.
The event which ends on Friday has received funding from the Welsh Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
The winner of the competition, being held to attract people to the town, will be selected by audience votes. (All photos courtesy of the organisers).
