Aberystwyth's Royal Pier has been sold by administrators after being on the market since March 2015.
In May, time wasters were blamed for stalling the sale of Wales' first pier valued at £1.25m.
Begbies Traynor confirmed the Grade II-listed structure has been sold to a pension fund.
The pier houses several small businesses including a nightclub, an arcade, a pub and restaurants.
It will continue to be run by general manager Lee Price as the business operated while in administration, said Begbies Traynor.
In a statement, they said: "The joint administrators would like to thank all those involved with supporting this unique Aberystwyth landmark and are pleased it now has the prospects of a more permanent future."
