Brecon soldier death: Two men deny murder and manslaughter
Two men have appeared in court accused of the murder and manslaughter of a soldier in Brecon, Powys.
Jake Vallely, 23, denied murdering Pte Matthew Boyd, 29, and Aaeron Evans, 22, denied manslaughter.
Pte Boyd, from the Royal Gibraltar Regiment, was found injured and unconscious on Lion Street in the town in May. He was taken to hospital, but later died.
Both men were remanded into custody at the hearing in Cardiff Crown Court.
They are due to next appear in court on 30 September. A trial has been set for 14 November.
