Lucky escape for mountain rescuers as Land Rover flips over

Four mountain rescuers answering an emergency call for help had a lucky escape when their Land Rover skidded on ice and flipped over on to its side.
The three men and one woman from two mountain rescue teams were responding to a call for help from a man stuck on Neuadd Ridge, Pen y Fan.
However, while driving to the rescue at 21:00 GMT on Saturday their car hit ice near Aber Village and flipped.
Luckily all four were uninjured and they were able to continue on foot.
Rescue priority
Mark Moran, a spokesman from the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue team, said: "It was a lucky escape.
"If it had skidded a couple more feet it would have ended up in the water at the side of the road."
Teams from Brecon Mountain Rescue and Western Beacons Mountain Rescue were also present. The missing man was located and was walked down the hillside by rescuers.
