Two infants involved in A470 crash flown to hospital
Two children have been airlifted to hospital following a crash that closed a major road in Powys.
The infants and a woman were hurt in the accident involving a lorry, a car and a van towing a trailer on the A470 near Caersws at about 11:00 GMT.
The youngsters were flown to Birmingham Children's Hospital in air ambulances while the woman was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in an ambulance.
Part of the A470 was closed following the crash but has now reopened.
Mid and West Fire and Rescue Service were also called to deal with the crash.
