Boy in court over Powys school pellet shooting
A 13-year-old boy is appearing in court over the shooting of a teacher at a secondary school in Powys.
The teenager has been charged with assault and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life after the incident on Wednesday.
The male member of staff at Maesydderwen Comprehensive School in Ystradgynlais suffered a "very minor facial injury", said police.
The boy, who is too young to be named, is accused of firing a pellet gun.
He was appearing at a youth court sitting in Brecon.
Dyfed-Powys Police said the school, social services and crown prosecution service had worked closely over the inquiry.
The teacher did not require hospital treatment after the incident, said police.
