Cardiff murder probe after man's 'stabbing'
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in the early hours.
Police went to a lane behind Cathays railway station in Cardiff at about 00:30 BST on Sunday, after being told a man had been stabbed.
He was taken to the University Hospital of Wales where he died. He has not been formally identified.
Two men, aged 18 and 19, both from Cardiff, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
They are currently in police custody.
Police said road and railway station closures were also linked to a separate incident at a nearby mosque.
Det Supt Rich Jones said police hope people will be able to assist with the investigation.
He said the force is "aware that there were a number of people in the area at the time, near the students' union in Park Place and on Corbett Road in the vicinity of the Woodville pub".
Transport for Wales said the station would remain closed for the rest of Sunday and on Monday.
