Two men have been charged with manslaughter following the death of a golf club greens keeper.

Father-of-one Gareth Pugh, 29, from Glynnaeth, Neath Port Talbot, was found in the water at Peterstone Lakes Golf Club, Newport, in February.

He was taken to Cardiff's University Hospital of Wales but later died.

Gwent Police said a 25-year-old from Glynneath and a 47-year-old from Aberdare were charged with manslaughter by gross negligence.

They are due to appear in Cwmbran Magistrates' Court on 22 December.
