Rhyl teenager admits Pensarn Beach kidnap and rape

A teenager has admitted kidnapping and raping a 62-year-old woman as she walked her dog on a Conwy beach.

The attack happened at Pensarn, near Abergele, in August.

Jack Karl Thomas Williams, 18, from Rhyl, Denbighshire, admitted three rape charges, kidnap, holding the woman against her will and inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.

He was remanded in custody at Mold Crown Court on Monday and will be sentenced on 10 November.

Judge Rhys Rowlands requested a pre-sentence report that will look at the "future risk" he poses.
